Our Chapter's Board of Directors
Rhondia B. Katz, President of the South FL PWC chapter, is a Project Manager for Pirtle Construction Co. She has overseen the construction of several School District of Palm Beach County projects in South Florida. Having received her LEED Accreditation, Ms. Siano is currently involved working on LEED Certified schools in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Prior to joining the Pirtle Team, Ms. Siano worked with Suffolk Construction, and Turner Construction, in Miami and New York, for a total of over 10 years of experience in the Construction Management industry. She holds a B.S in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York.

Marie T. Varon, Vice President of the South FL PWC chapter, is in Electronic Sales selling Fire Alarm, Security and Nurse Call Systems for SimplexGrinnell. After several years in banking, she has been in the fire and security industry for over 10 yrs

Kira Walton-Gelsomino, Treasurer of the South FL PWC chapter, is a Senior Estimator at T&T Custom Designs, Inc.. She has been actively involved with "green building" as a LEED AP. Ms. Walton previously worked at Bovis Lend Lease in Miami, James A. Cumming in Ft. Lauderdale and Turner Construction and Turner International in New York for several years. Ms. Walton holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, New York.

Kristina Kidder, Secretary of the South FL PWC chapter, is a Senior Project Coordinator for Pirtle Construction Company. Mrs. Kidder began her construction career at Pirtle Construction eight years ago, after spending ten years in the travel industry. She has worked on multiple projects for the School District of Palm Beach County ranging from Elementary Schools to High Schools. She is also responsible for the training of new Project Coordinators and assisting multiple Project Managers. Mrs. Kidder also represents Pirtle Construction at monthly M/WBE & SBE Luncheons, held by the Office of Diversity in Business Practices for the School District, where she assists the attending subcontractors with receiving and completing their prequalification paperwork for upcoming projects.

Roxanna F. Bolivar, Director of Events of the South FL PWC chapter, is an Assistant Project Manager at Pavarini Construction Construction., SE. Her previous experience has been working on construction projects in both the public and private sector with Turner Construction. Mrs. Bolivar is an active member of the community, volunteering her time to organizations such as the American Heart Association, ACE Mentoring Program, Habitat for Humanity and Baynanza. She also works with minority contractors and helps mentor them to get the proper prequalification's in order to bid and work on the projects.

Mellany Paynter, Board Member of the South FL PWC chapter, is a Project Engineer for Asset Builders, LLC. Ms. Paynter began her career in the construction industry as a draughtsperson in her home country of Trinidad, where she produced architectural, structural and civil drawings on various residential and commercial projects. From there, she went on to attain a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Howard University. While there, she served as University Chapter President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for two years. Ms. Paynter previously worked as an Engineer for Tompkins Builders in Washington DC. She is currently pursuing LEED accreditation and continues to be an active member in the community by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and enjoys mentoring kids.

Elizabeth Couceiro, Board Member of the South FL PWC chapter, is an outside sales representative for SimplexGrinnell providing maintenance agreements for Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler systems in Dade County. After pursuing a nursing degree and receiving a B.S. in Nursing at Valencia Community College, she has been with SimplexGrinnell for over 3 years and recently accepted a promotion to outside sales. Previously she was a project coordinator for the Fire Sprinkler Operations department. Ms. Couceiro is interested in the Life Safety Business because its a specialty trade that is enforced by local code and there has plenty of room for growth within SimplexGrinnell. SimplexGrinnell has been in the Fire Alarm & Fire Sprinkler business for over 100 years and has more than 140 offices nationwide.
