Every Woman Has a Story

PWC Philadelphia continues our story of mentorship, inspiration and determination with Dr. Jen Welter. Join us for an incredible night with Dr. Jen Welter as she shares her story of Play Big – Lessons in Being Limitless.

Dr. Jen Welter draws from her trailblazing journey to deliver her memorable insight on the far-reaching benefits of being an authentic leader, focusing on one’s goals, and cultivating a champion’s mindset.

As the first female coach in NFL history, Dr. Jen Welter serves as a powerful role model and an inspiring reminder that barriers are meant to be broken. With a career studded with several firsts, Dr. Jen Welter made history when she coached the Arizona Cardinals’ inside linebackers for their 2015 training camp. Previously, she became the first woman to coach a men’s professional football league team, as linebacker and special teams’ coach for the Indoor Football League’s Texas Revolution. She was also the first woman to play running back in a men’s professional football season with the Revolution. In her book, “Play Big” she reveals the grit and determination that it took to be a trailblazer in one of the country’s toughest boys’ clubs. Dr. Welter holds a doctorate degree in psychology and a Master’s in sport psychology.
