Field Construction Manager
Field Construction Managers for Transmission, Distribution, Substation and Generation utility projects. Project work will involve utility construction at locations across our client’s territory. Projects assignments are throughout the Northeast in Connecticut (Orange), Maine (Augusta, Portland), and New York (Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse). Positions may be assigned to one of our local or client office locations.
This position will work closely with site contractors, project engineering and program management office staff to manage project execution and oversee project safety, quality and environmental requirements. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams managing project execution.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction administration and direct management of construction project required.
Must be familiar with general utility construction as well as basic utility safety, quality, environmental and OSHA compliance.
Must be comfortable with MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and related applications (Adobe, Bluebeam) to produce daily/weekly reports.
Positions (level) are dependent on education, project experience and consulting history.
Applicants must be “Electrically Qualified” and capable to become certified for switching and tagging at the client site(s).
Ability to travel and work remotely will be given preference.
